The exhibition prepared in cooperation with the Central Archives of Historical Records will certainly please amateurs of Middle Ages. It has been organized to commemorate both the 490. anniversary of the last Mazovian Duke’s death and the incorporation of Mazovia within the Crown. It's a great occasion to see rare documents complete with seals, as well as volumes from ducal chancelleries. Amongst valuable historic items there is an exceptional binding of Duchess Anastasia’s Gospel Book – one of the most precious examples of medieval art jewelry.
